  • Lead operations teams to deliver safe, efficient and accurate handling, storage and movement of commodities aligned to Access World operational standards.
  • Drive execution of warehouse activities to achieve productivity, cost efficiency and service delivery targets across inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Position operations as a key component of integrated supply chain solutions through effective resource utilisation and operational control.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations including receiving, storage and dispatch to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.
  • Coordinate Team Leaders and operational teams to align activities with business and client requirements.
Inventory & Stock Control
  • Manage inventory processes to ensure accurate stock levels and record integrity.
  • Monitor stock movements, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Operational Planning & Execution
  • Plan and schedule operational activities to optimise resources, workflow and productivity.
  • Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to meet client requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
Health & Safety Compliance
  • Drive adherence to health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
  • Track and analyse operational performance metrics to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive productivity and cost-efficiency initiatives to improve overall operational performance.
Performance Management
  • Track and analyse operational performance metrics to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

People Management
  • Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality performance.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (NQF Level 6).
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (NQF Level 7). Experience Required:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations management within logistics, freight or supply chain environments.
  • At least 3 years’ experience supervising teams within warehouse or distribution environments.
Advantageous Experience:
  • Experience handling commodities such as metals, bulk materials or general cargo.
  • Experience in inventory management, stock control and warehouse management systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Departamento: IT Depende de: Senior Group IT Manager Objetivos del puesto: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, stability and evolution of our global infrastructure environment. While this position is physically based in Durban, South Africa, the role provides support to various teams across Access World’s global operations, working closely with stakeholders and managing team members across multiple countries, across multiple countries and regions. This is a strategic technical leadership role responsible for ensuring the performance, resilience and security of enterprise infrastructure platforms that support international operations. The role will oversee hybrid infrastructure environments, lead infrastructure projects, and guide a team responsible for maintaining mission-critical technology services. As IT Infrastructure Manager, you will:
  • Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of global infrastructure platforms
  • Ensure high availability, performance and resilience of enterprise systems
  • Manage hybrid environments including Microsoft infrastructure, Azure cloud platforms and enterprise networking
  • Provide technical leadership on infrastructure transformation and technology projects
  • Strengthen cybersecurity, governance and compliance standards across infrastructure environments in collaboration with our internal InfoSec team.
  • Lead and develop a team of infrastructure engineers and system administrators
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology investments
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational efficiency across infrastructure services
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Design, implement and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure solutions across physical and cloud environments.
  • Ensure high availability, performance and security of infrastructure systems globally.
  • Oversee infrastructure capacity planning for both physical and virtual environments.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions.
Technology Solutions & Projects
  • Participate in the design, testing (UAT) and implementation of new IT solutions.
  • Scope hardware and software requirements aligned to business needs.
  • Coordinate system testing, deployment and upgrades across environments.
  • Provide technical leadership for infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
Security, Risk & Compliance
  • Maintain infrastructure security in line with best practice standards.
  • Ensure systems and policies support PCI compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the internal Information Security team to mitigate risks, vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
  • Ensure antivirus, security tools and infrastructure controls are current and aligned to industry standards.
Service Delivery & Operations
  • Ensure infrastructure services meet defined SLAs and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with global service desks, technical teams and external vendors.
  • Establish clear communication processes regarding system performance and outages.
  • Support technical audits and implement recommended improvements.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide direction, coaching and mentorship to systems administrators and engineers.
  • Develop technical capability and leadership skills within the team.
  • Ensure strong collaboration across IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and innovation.
Financial & Resource Management
  • Manage infrastructure budgets and ensure cost-effective utilisation of technology resources.
  • Oversee licensing, infrastructure investments and vendor relationships.
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining service quality.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards and operational procedures.
  • Ensure change management processes are followed for all production system changes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance authentication, security and data protection processes.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure strategies and technology solutions to support business growth.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure environments
  • 3+ years in an infrastructure leadership or management role
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Server environments, Azure cloud platforms and enterprise networking
  • Expertise in Office 365, Active Directory, infrastructure security and systems performance management
  • Professional certifications such as MCSE/MCSA, A+, N+, Fortinet or equivalent will be advantageous.
