Purpose of the position:
- A highly motivated individual with the relevant skill sets, capable of establishing and developing vendor relationships in Sub-Saharan Africa, including transporters/brokers and port operators etc.
- Procurement of transport and ocean freight rates locally and internationally for both import and export cargo.
- Preparation and sending of project quotations & Proposals.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customer relations with specific focus on Project Cargo.

- Attending to customer enquiries.
- Actively participate as a member of AW South Africa team and working closely with other Commercial and business unit Managers within Sub Saharan Africa and other global Access World entities.
- Compile proposals.
- Request rates from service providers.
- Establish and develop vendor relationships with abnormal transporters, breakbulk vessel brokers/carriers, Container shipping lines and freight forwarders in Access World office locations.
- Maintain high standard of service delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers and clients.
- Resolve problems efficiently.
- Address internal and external operational issues, liaising and coordinating with vendors (ports operators, transporters etc.) and internal clients.
- Liaise and update clients.
- Resolve queries.
- Monthly commercial activity reporting in form of current sales pipeline.
- Send customer on boarding docs and compile completed docs for submission to legal.
- Work through service agreements for secured business with legal department and projects head.

资格和经验:
- 必要
- Minimum a college diploma/degree from recognized Institute.
- Minimum 3-years sales/estimator experience in Sub Saharan Africa Project Forwarding especially via ports of entry such as Durban, Beira, Dar es Salaam and Walvis Bay.
- Excellent commercial and entrepreneurial flair is critical to the success of this role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

- Previous dealings with Chinese customer base & Chinese verbal abilities.
